Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Indiana Driver's License with good driving record.
Positive and mature attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have an interest in the well-being of residents and be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and providers as well as other members of the caregiving team.
Must be 25 years or older Physical Demands:
Frequent pushing and pulling of 100 pounds via wheelchairs and cots Frequent bending, stooping, and twisting Minimal lifting, over 25 pounds Frequent standing and sitting, 1-2 hours at a time Frequent walking Responsible to:
Administrator and Director of Nursing
Responsibilities:
Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability.
Maintains good grooming and appearance within this facility's dress code policy.
Will know facility policies and procedures for safety and disaster preparedness, resident's rights, and universal precaution.
Will participate in the education/training in-service programs provided by the facility.
Will maintain confidentiality of personal records of residents.
Ensure the facility vehicle is filled with gas routine maintenance is done and the supervisor is notified of any concerns with vehicles.
Knowledge of locations of various providers in the area.
Other duties as assigned.
